Drenda Williams



Williams began her 24-year career with USDA-NRCS as one of the first USDA/1890 National Scholars. She held various positions with the agency in field offices as a Soil Conservationist, managed Lincoln University’s Center for Excellence, served as an Agricultural Economist, Environmental Quality Incentives Program and Conservation Stewardship Program Manager, Assistant State Conservationist for Operations in Missouri, and Acting State Conservationist in Oregon and Missouri. Currently she is the Assistant State Conservationist for Management and Strategy in Temple, Texas.

She served as NOPBNRCSE President 2010-2012 and 2015-2017.
