 All About the Chapters
Support and Recognition for Your Chapter
  • The Executive Board of The Organization recognizes that many of our local chapters have efforts that help to support our purpose. These efforts can enhance awareness, knowledge and understanding of the NRCS programs and operating procedures by employees. It can also improve their level of education and professional development in order to increase the participation of Blacks in agriculture, natural resources and related fields. These efforts can be advanced by financial support from the National Chapter. These efforts will also generate greater local participation in The Organization. Please contact your Regional Representative for more information.  For those chapters who have proposals ready, you can also submit them through your Regional Rep at this time.
  • Showcase your Chapter and all of the great things that are happening around the country.  This year, we will be awarding The Organization Chapter of the Year, so continue to submit articles about the exciting things your chapter has been doing. If your chapter would like to be nominated for the chapter of the year, please submit your 2015 Annual report to Kevin Farmer at kevin.farmer@wdc.usda.gov.
